Ok, I just reinstalled Vista on my laptop, but the sound does not work. The volume is not on mute or anything, what can I do to get the sound to work??

You need to download sound drivers, or other drivers from the OEM's website. You will need to go to Start>Right-Click on Computer>Manage>Device Manager and install any devices with a Yellow ! sign next to them. Alert me if you require additional assistance in this.
