I am having some problems with the playback sound devices in my Vista Laptop, ever since I had to change the Hard Disc and Windows were re-installed. Specifically, the automatic device selection does not seem to work and whenever I want to use headphones,I have to change the default device option myself.When I listen to music or watch videos and I change the settings during the reproduction,they do not apply at once;I have to close the file and then open it again in order to see some results.I don't think that this has to do with my sound-card, since both headphones and speaker are working but not complementary.Is there any way to return to the good old "automatic" days?
