Hello, just wondering can anyone help me fix the sound & audio on my laptop. I have Vista Home Premium 32bit & it's on it's 2nd Service Pack. A few weeks ago the sound & audio just went completely off my laptop. It worked for a day or 2 now it's gone again. The sound logo has an X over it now & when I put the mouse arrow over it it says ''No Audio Output Device Is Installed''.
The laptop had Conexant on it & I've been on numerous sites & forums but can't find a way to fix it again. The laptop is a Compaq Presario V6000.
If anyone can help it'd much appreciated as now my patients are being tested with the laptop & soon I think I'm gonna snap & end up firing it out the window.
