Hi, how do i change my Vista pc sound so that i can only hear Windows Sounds?

Welcome,
I think with Vista in the Control panel its hardware and sounds, in Windows Seven its just sounds
Go there and disaable the starup sound by unchecking the startup sound box, and then change the
LOGIN sound to whatever you want
