    dvd drive

    Hi, I seem to have a problem uploading my photo's to disc. When i r/click a photo & select burn to disc, a message comes up please put disk into drive e. i carry out the instruction put in the disc the drive closes then nothing happens. Am i missing an instruction? Thanks

    tried this but was refused as it could harm the computer. could you recomend another reader. Thanks

    If you are running anti-virus real-time shield software it's not uncommon for it to interfere with how the system functions. Imgburn has been around for quite awhile and has a top notch reputation. If it shows as malware and you downloaded directly from the Imgburn site, then the av software may be the problem.

    edit: it may be worth an experiment. If you have real-time av protection running, turn it off just long enough to try burning a disc. If everything works then that would indicate it's not letting the burning software properly access the hardware.
