Clean Install, Cannot get correct audio drivers

I apologize if this has already been discussed, I've just recently joined the forum. My main hard drive recently failed. I got a new one, reinstalled windows and got my graphics card and everything else installed, along with drivers. I cannot seem to get my system to get my audio back up and running. I have an XPS 420 running Vista Home Premium 64 with HDA 7.1 channel audio. I know I need RealTek but every time i try to install it, it doesn't "take" and just recognizes it as "High Definition Audio Device". Also, I had an IDT Control Center that came along with it. The drivers on my disc didn't seem to work, the only luck I've had is a Sigmatel codec but it doesn't appear to have everything that everything back to the way it was after the install. Any help would be insanely appreciated.

I didn't get it from that site,no. I used the Realtek located on my drivers and utilities disc. Also when clicking on the link, it sends me into an endless loop of link moved here and then I click on it and then go to accept the terms and continue and it does the same thing.

Some other info that may be helpful, When I went to install the realtek from the disc. Device manager told me I had two audio "devices". They were labeled " High Definition Audio Device". In order to get the Sigmatel Audio Codec that I had installed to work I had to disable one of these "HD Audio Devices" and it would install on the other.

I was able to download the 64bit file from there but was unable to upload it to this post
Follow the link, try clicking I accept then click HD Audio Codec not next and see if that works.
