Keyboard sound control problems

Hi, I have a Dell Keyboard with a little sound controller on it, but about 6 months ago, it stopped working 100% of the time, and now it only works if I "select" my toolbar, and even then it's very on and off.

Has anyone else ever had this problem?

1. Which Dell Keyboard (model) is used on the computer?
2. For how many days you have been facing this issue?
3. Did you try any troubleshooting steps from your end?
