Hi Ted,

Symantec is the company that makes Norton, so unless you have another one of their products installed it should be.

Ted,

You could manually delete it, but I would recommend that you try using the Norton Removal Tool first to see if it can get rid of the left over Norton files for you.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool
