Is any one having trouble intalling Bitdefender Antivirus 2008 64 bit Version. ? 
When installing right at the completion a system requester appears :
Title : Installer Information.
(Yellow triangle) The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed,
This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode,
or if the Windows Installer is not orrectly installed.
Contact your support personnel for assistance.
1. Windows Installer service,
Yes its there in services also was under manual but loaded, set it to automatic and on first error - reload and notify. Made no difference.
2. Safe Mode,
Not. normal start up also logged in auto as admin.
3. Contact your support personnel for assistance,

Looked on Bitdefender web site and can find no reported probs, also under forums there are complaints but not of this type. Also looked up on MS and the only thiing pointing to WIS is on XP and talks about re-installing the service after de-installing it. Also WIS for vista is V4.0 and is on the CD and I have not yet looked at the wau of re-installing it yet. I have Vista 64, with SP1 loaded and have no other problems at all. (other than I hated Vista to start of with but the damm thing grows on you
