The 'net user' command just provides a list of users on your PC in alphabetical order - it does not provide the type or group of the users. To find out this information, click the start orb and type 'control userpasswords2' into the search box and press enter/return. You will need to provide administrative credentials. The following image is what you should see - note that I have removed the user names from this image. Dwarf Last edited by Dwarf; 06-26-2008 at 03:36 PM. |

For the homepage, it is blocked surely by an anti-spy you installed or by your AV software. In this case, you can disable the "block homepage" function in the settings. BTW, are you able to export/import reg files from HKCU as you have full permission? Once everything will be OK, we'll remove some entries shown in the log file. 'not important for thr moment. |

C:\Program Files\Webshots\webshots.scr A .scr file extension indicates a screen-saver, however they are also a common way that malware is transported. I would uninstall/delete this file. O2 - BHO: (no name) - {1C98ED08-32BF-4B69-BC80-625CDA74D9EF} - C:\Windows\system32\vTlkIBTn.dll (file missing) This could be connected to the Vundo malware that you have had on your system. A quick scan of Google and Yahoo reveals no matches for vTlkIBTn.dll, which is suspicious. O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Uninstall BitDefender Online Scanner v8 - {85d1f590-48f4-11d9-9669-0800200c9a66} - C:\Windows\bdoscandel.exe (file missing) This item refers to BitDefender. If you have installed or used this program, then that would explain its presence here. If not, then it could be malware. Malware uses legitimate programs in many ways, including using the filename and other information from the genuine file in order to hide itself. I also notice that you have a download manager and a bit-torrent client installed. Personally, I don't recommend these (there are bound to be people who disagree with me, but that's their perogative). Some malware can actually propagate itself through these means. What I would do is click on 'Send Log to TrendMicro' and follow the instructions to submit the file to one of the forums listed. You will have to check your chosen forum for replies to your query. It shouldn't do any harm to check the above mentioned 2 items and then click 'Fix checked'. However, if you are unsure, please wait to see what the forum suggests. Hope this helps. Dwarf |
