| xp | can someone help? Ive installed avg antivirus on a friends machine that's running vista but vista isn't recognising it but it seems to be running correctly. A pop up appears to upgrade to anti virus 09 but it doesn't tell you who its from. Is the only solution to use a paid for anti virus as avg is free? windows xp has no problems with it. Can some one please help??? |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: can someone help? Don't accept popup Anti Virus 09 is a rogue software. I'd also install Malwarebytes Antimalware to make sure your system is clean. antivirus2009-scanner.com - Malwarebytes Security Forums There are also Avira AntVir Classic and Avast 4.8 Home, both are free. AntiVir has very good detection, but has nag screen when updating. Last edited by kr4ey; 07-28-2008 at 03:25 PM.. |
