Vista - how to remove the virus from my pc

hello there, im aisha and im worried that my pc got lots of virus.. sometimes antivirus never detect some. one of the best ways to do is by using the command prompt.. i used to do it with flashdrives but i cant make it now.. please help me..how can i remove viruses from my pc.. thanks..

Use a better Virus Scanner?

Use NOD32, it's one of the better ones around in my opinion, but it's not free. Use avast! if you want a fairly good free one.
Also install Spyware - Search & Destroy to see if you have malicious software.

After a week of fighting various Trojan horses with many applications. I just backed up the data and reinstalled the OS.

That is always my first choice. Destructive reformat, Full pc backup Reinstall. The time spent cleaning it up/repairing (if even possible) Is just not worth it most of the time.
