Whats the best Anti-Virus

Hey, I'm currently Antivirus-ness-less (if that makes sence), anyway, I'm looking for an anti-virus I can trial, and then maybe buy, if there's a pro and a free version.
I am using SuperAntiSpyware (So I'm not really, antivirus-ness-less) but I need another program to back that up, and protect me from virus's, more than find just spyware, even though SuperAntiSpyware does a great job at finding Spyware.

Heres my specs:
Asus X50RL Laptop
2GB RAM
Windows Vista Home Premium

Cheers if you can help

Re: Whats the best Anti-Virus

Hello Reattach,

A good free antivirus program is the Avast Home Edition. You have to register once a year for a license number, but it's still free.

FREE avast! antivirus 4.x Home Edition, anti-spyware & anti-rootkit for Windows

Another good free spyware program to use is Spybot Search & Destroy.

The home of Spybot-S&D!

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: Whats the best Anti-Virus

Everthing Brink recomends is perfect.

I prefer NOD32, but I only load Avast on peoples systems that don't want to spend the money.

But the best protection would be NOD32.
