Vista - Can't get rid

Hi all,

I'm having a spot of bother here with a Trojan that Counter Spy has found, I have done 3 full scans and each time this miserable little blighter keeps coming back, and I don't know how else to get shot of it.....can anyone help please? here is a screenshot of what Counter Spy found, please ignore the Cookies one as I have told it to remove and it was successful, its just the Trojan that keeps coming back on each scan I do.

As a sidenote, how do I post a screen of something that shows straight away instead of an attachment that you must click on?

See if your virus software can detect it and to post a pic after you upload it as an attachment click on the attachment after you upload it and then copy the address and click on insert image button.

I just did a quick scan with Counter Spy and it found it again so I told it to remove it, and then scanned again, and low and behold it did'nt find it again, very strange lol but I'll do as you say and let Avast have a go, but that will take all night as its slow and has a 500 Gig HD to go through lol

Keep us posted yeah 500Gb is alot of info to scan.

Well my Virus Scan just finished and it found a fair few other things that are all in the chest now, but I guess I need to do a full scan again to makes sure that its all clear, is this recommended? if so I'll do it tomorrow as I really want to go do something else now, need to have some enjoyment

Full scan will scan everything on your hard drive so I would run that also. Now have fun enjoy the rest of your day.

best scan to run imo is the avast boot scan.
