Re: Trojan removal

Hi,

D/l , install, update and scan with this free app.

Malwarebytes.org

That will probably get it, make sure by also scanning with this free version

SUPERAntiSpyware.com - AntiAdware. AntiSpyware. AntiMalware.

Hope it helps

Re: Trojan removal

Both Combofix and Smitfraudfix wont work on Vista 64bit. Smitfraudfix not at all on Vista.

You should not link to exe-files when it comes to such tools. Bleeping have a guide for Combofix A guide and tutorial on using ComboFix

This is what they have to say about ComboFix:

Quote:
You should not be using Combofix unless instructed to do so by a Malware Removal Expert. It is a powerful tool intended by its creator to be "used under the guidance and supervision of an expert", NOT for private use. Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again. Please read Combofix's Disclaimer.

Discussion pertaining to how Combofx works, what it can or cannot do, future plans, etc is not available to the public in order to safeguard and protect the integrity of the tool from malware writers. As such, the developer does not want his tool discussed outside of private forums.
So why put up a guide then? They are very focused about procedure and such but alternative is not direct links to fire off

Go crazy with Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware though.
