| Windows 7 RTM 64-bit | Re: Virus??? Please help... Thanks leslie, it was all because of the DNS servers. i use a fixed ip and DNS server and it was changed. so i did put my old DNS server back and its now working. but still when i click on Malwarebytes, it wont open, i have reinstalled it twice but it wont open. any idea? |

Hi Dinesh, Sounds like a problem with the .exe file association, you could navigate to this key : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.exe\UserChoice and delete it. Or merge this .reg file Remove-exe-UserChoice.reg |

| VISTA HOME PREMIUM X64/ 7 x64 / 7x86 | Re: Virus??? Please help... You should have this : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.exe\OpenWithProgids\exefile with hex value of 0 If not merge this: exe-filext-default.reg |
