Vista - Computer problems

Hey Guys.

I've been having problems with my computer for a few weeks now.
I haven't been able to load firefox, It just says " Restore session or Start New Session" I click either one and the dialog box closes but firefox doesn't open. I now use Opera which is fine but I would like to go back to firefox.

Also when I go to restart my computer the little button that you click on the start menu does not open the list. In the end I have to shut it off by the power button.

And nothing on my computer will boot up right now. I know if I close Opera now, It will not re-open unless I re-boot my pc. Nothing at all will open now.

I have ran scans by AVG Free, Malwarebytes free and Spybot Search And Destroy. Spybot turned up about 8 problems that I removed but nothing has Improved.

Anyone have any ideas?

You need to provide more details about the numerous problems that you currently have.[ We are not mind readers.]
Did you have any of these problems prior to Spybot finding malware?
Are the programs that you are running all fully updated? [ including Windows.]
Did another Anti Virus program come pre installed on your computer? If so how did you remove it?
What have you downloaded of late? [from when your computer was running normally to now.]
How often to you run scans with AVG & Malwarebytes & Spybot?
etc. etc.
