could this be virus ?

hi all...
just quick question i would like to ask...
my pc has being running real laggy over last few days allso in firefox when i open google and click on link example facebook it open whole new window up i just had like 50 windows pop up and it really doing me head in now any ideas what this could be how i could find out ? thanks guys

First check I would make is to try another browser. Maybe it is only a Firefox problem.

I see that you sort of have a virus or something in your computer try doing virus and spyware scans on your computer

Hello Noddsta,
Please list all of the Security Progs that you are currently using including your Firewall.
It's worth running SuperAntiSpyware free version to see what it flushes out.
Perform a quick scan. Reboot at end.
For a second opinion Malwarebytes free version is an option. Reboot at end.
Let us know how you go.
