Re: Two Whole Days of BS

Yeah if you Do what 3Dpiper said you would need to but, i think you will be far better off just rebuilding from scratch. that way there are no problems following you and the system will be runnning better

P.s Ill add you tonight my GT is SinlessViper

Re: Two Whole Days of BS

I don't think he recommended building from scratch, just detaching my drive (which I guess is going to involve unscrewing bolts...) as opposed to doing something like reinstalling windows which I guess is like building from scratch.

I heard there is a "manual" way of removing the infection, and it involves going into the registry and deleting some keys. I thought this was the last option I had but I am still sending it to the guy because it has to do with what he does for a living, and he has helped us before on an occasion.

Sinless? Ha!

I usually play Soul Calibur...and have been since it came out (which was about 1.5 years ago). When Tekken comes out on the 27th, my next only console played game will be Tekken 6, for some years.

Re: Two Whole Days of BS

Someone please do my a favor. Those who have XP.

Restart your computer, then let it get to the blue login screen. On the far left it says "Turn of Computer" right?

Now log in, then switch user. What does it say now? Because mine says (when I switch user) "Turn off PC".

I just want to check if this is normal, and not a result of a virus. Someone please do this.
