UAC taking too long.

Whenever I download a huge setup file (such as a game or game demo 500MB or more) UAC takes a long time and the system becomes unresponsive. How can I fix this?

Disable UAC. It is such a hassle and a nusience in vista. Follow this tutorial, and you will be all set.

You can say that. I just finished doing a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate;)
