Hey guys,
I'm new at this so sorry if this has already been posted and answered.
Basically I was hacked by vista antispyware 2010 a couple of times and its really messed up my laptop. I got it to go away by using safe mode then the nrmal mode but I'm sure it's still there.
It's made "open with" come up everytime i use a program and grayed out the default option. It won't let me use anything but internet explorer giving me the message "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the set associations control panel."
I tried to attempt a system restore but "open with" comes up and i dont know which program to use for this.
Any help would mean a lot

hey thanks,
And yeah i tried to do one but the "open with" thing came up and i had no idea which program to choose so I left it.
And the second option seems quite complex maybe I should just take it somewhere to get fixed?

Hello Melanie,

Try to get rid of this nasty fellow with the Remove Fake Antivirus 154 portable. You don't have to install it just run as admin. Hope it helps.
