    How to remove a virus?

    1) It is not slowing down my computer or anythinbg
    But whenever i plug USB stick into my computer and then remove it
    There are 2 files created
    mIRC.exe i think
    plz help

    Hello Tarak,
    Do you have mIRC installed ?, if so un-install.
    Download this free app, update and run.

    Malwarebytes

    Can you tell me what AV you use ?.

    Try the malware scan and post your results.

    I tried Avast
    Doesnt work
    I dont have anything installed
    I got it by a USB stick. as i said there was this virus created on the uSB stick

    On the USB, it changes its name to 'System.exe'

    less than a month, my freind downloaded something from a CHinese website (keygen)
    thats how i got it. I pluged the usb into his and then into mines.

    Download and Run FlashDisinfector
    • Please download Flash_Disinfector.exe by sUBs and save it to your desktop.
    • Double-click Flash_Disinfector.exe to run it and follow any prompts that may appear.
      Note: Some security programs will flag Flash_Disinfector as being some sort of malware, you can safely ignore these warnings
    • The utility may ask you to insert your flash drive and/or other removable drives including your mobile phone. Please do so and allow the utility to clean up those drives as well.
    • Wait until it has finished scanning and then exit the program.
    • Reboot your computer when done.
    Note: Flash_Disinfector will create a hidden folder named autorun.inf in each partition and every USB drive plugged in when you ran it. Don't delete this folder. It will help protect your drives from future infection.
