Hello,

Since you know what you are doing, instructions scant!

  • Right click on Drive in Question
  • Properties
  • Security Tab
  • Edit
  • Add
  • Advanced
  • Find Now
  • Double Click on User Account to Block
  • OK
  • Full Control, under Deny
  • Apply
  • Continue x lots
  • OK
If this is not enough, or you want more sophisticated control, just ask.

Sorry, I don't quite understand you, so if I misunderstand you, please explain again :) This would only deny access to that account, your account would stay the same.

I know what you mean now! No, the files themselves won't, but the drive will, and that will not change, and so the end result is that the other user won't be able to access anything, because he won't be able to get to the files which are unlocked, so don't worry! If this user is really clever with computers, he may still be able to access it, but it will take a bit of work, maybe a program or boot CD, but it will show "Access is Denied" and this stops most users.
