My malwarebytes free subscription is about to expire...and my bit defender is not reliable on its own...is there something else that is free similar to malwarebyte that I can download that will work well with bitdefender?

Are you using the free version? There is no expiration on that, you just don't have real time protection.

Most here use and like Microsoft Security Essenatials for real time protection and Malwarebytes for the once a week scan. This is all that you need. If you insist on bit defender, you can use Windows Defender.

I use bitdefender b/c I had already paid for the year and I have like 7-8 months left...otherwise I would have downloaded the microsoft essent.
The version of Malwarebytes I have is the free one...but it keeps sending me a message saying its about to expire in 2 days?

Ref: Windows Defender...I was told to leave that OFF...b/c it doesnt play well with Bit Defender??? Is that incorrect??? I also always have 1 microsoft download that will not download and always fails...but I heard alot of people have this issue?
