DEP keeps shutting down RealPlayer?

Hi, I'm new to this site and don't really know how this goes, so if I do something wrong, I apologize. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me why DEP was still shutting RealPlayer down, I've gone into my Command Prompt(Admin) and disabled it completely, checked the status and it said it was disabled, went to try and convert some music in R.P., and it still shut it down! Can anyone tell me what else I could do, I have never had any problems with R.P. before yesterday and I trust it, greatly.

I had this exact issue about 18 months ago, Elm.

No amount of mucking about with DEP would get it to work.

Anyway, I ended up by downloading the (then) latest version of RealPlayer
and installing it.

Lo and behold, problem fixed.

So, that could be worth a try, if you haven't already done so.

What version did you update with, if I may ask? Do you think that if I uninstalled it, then re-installed it again, the problem would be fixed?
