MalwareBytes JUST had an update today which explained one of the reasons for it was to fix this exact issue, but even after downloading the update AND restarting my computer (twice), MB is STILL not showing up in my list of Start-up programs, even though it DOES run when Windows starts, just like before... so, I have no idea what else to do now but just wait until there are others with the same issue AGAIN, and for them to resolve it... is everyone else still having this issue even after the most recent supposed 'Fix' update today?? Thanks.
Sorry for the delay in answering. Sometimes pressures on my side of the computer get in the way.
In any event, I never noticed the Malwarebytes does not appear in my startup items, because it does start with Windows, which is when it is needed. My Malwarebytes is not in my startup and dont think that it ever was. My problem with the prior version is that it did not start with Windows.
I think that if it does start with Windows, this is the way it is suppose to work. In any event it serves the purpose intended. If yours starts with Windows that is all that is needed.
