Vista - DreamScene

Brink, Thankyou, I found it. IMHO it is not as good as I thought it might be (bee-LOL). I had to browse to the folder through "Control Panel\Personalization\Desktop Background" & then go to "Windows Dreamscenes" and browse to the folder that you mentioned. At first there were only 12 Dreamscenes displaying in this Window. When I browsed I found 17 Dreamscenes there. I clicked on each of them one at a time and now after doing that all 17 are displaying. I don't know why I had to do this but it now works. IMHO after the update they should have all been displaying. I guess MS doesn't have everything as fine tuned as they should.

Not sure why it didn't show up for you there, but I'm glad that you got it sorted. I was very disapointed with the Dreamscenes as well. You might give Stardock DeskScapes a try instead. There are a ton of great dream files for it.

something thats been bugging me for quite some time is the fact that i can not use DC on my dual monitor set-up
I use 1x BFG 9800GX2 with 1 32" lcd over DVI and 1 17" TFT over DVI to AGP
When i try to use DC i get this message

clicking further to that i get this message

now i did see an article on a site showing it was possible to run DC on 2 monitors but there was never any tutorial on how to get it working so i am woundering if any one here knows how

Do you have more than one graphics cards installed and enabled? For example, do you still have a onboad graphics chip still enabled in BIOS.

I have 1x BFG 9600 GT OC with a 1x28" LCD DVI to HDMI cable (connection 2 on card set as Primary) and a 1x17" LCD DVI to VGA converter (connection 1 on card set as secondary), and DreamScene and DeskScapes works fine for me.

well i have the BFG 9800GX2.... i have my card set-up as a mulit display mode so it uses individual screens with each of the gpus that the gard has so that on 1 screen i can game while browing the web or something on the secound..... (not a cloaned view)
the only other option on this card is to use multi GPU mode where the 2 GPU's combind into 1 big GPU and this is where i will get cloned mode which is not what i want

so it simply 1 9800 GX2 setup on or emulating SLi on a dual view mode... this seems to be the only option i have for dual vew and clone view

now if i set it as clone view the dreamscean will work but when it is set on dual display thats when i get the error messages

I believe it's going to be one of those compatibility issues with DeskScapes and your card set-up in mulit display mode just not going to work together. Since this seems to be program specific with DeskScapes, you might post this same question and details in their support forum to see if they may know of a workaround or solution to this that will let you still have the GPU setup you wanted. I do not know what to suggest for this problem.
