How to See System Information in Vista
Information
  System Information shows details about your computer's hardware configuration, computer components, and software, including drivers. For more information on this, see: Windows Help and How-to: What is System Information?
Tip
  The EXE location for System Information is: C:\Windows\System32\msinfo32.exe
RELATED LINKS:
Here's How:
1. Open the Start Menu.
2. Click on All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and System Information.

OR

1. Open the Start Menu.
2. In the white line (Start Search) area, type msinfo32 and press Enter.
3. Look through the information. (See screenshot below)
NOTE: You can Copy and Paste the information by highlighting the text and clicking on Edit and Copy. You can then right click and Paste it to where you want.

sweet, thats handy
what other 'codes' are available for handy stuff. all i know is this one and 'cmd' but do you know any others if possible?

Hi tatz93,

There are just to many to lists, but they are scattered through out the tutorials among the subject that they belong to. (Ex: Shell command, Flip 3D, etc....)

The white line (Start Search) area is just like the RUN window. It will open any shortcut name, file, folder that you type in it that it can find.
