How to Turn the Guest Account On or Off in Vista

Information
A guest account is an account for users who don't have a permanent account on your computer, network, or domain. It allows people to use your computer without having access to your personal files unless you allow this account to share a file or folder. People using the guest account can't install software or hardware, change settings, or create a password. The guest account is turned off by default.
NOTE
The guest account will logon with the user name Guest. The guest account cannot have a password given to it, so just leave the password field blank at logon and press Enter.
WARNING
When Password Protected Sharing is turned off, computers on your network that do not have a personal user account on your computer to logon to will require the guest account to be turned on so that they can logon with it to access the files and folders that you have set to be shared with the Guest account.
