How to use the Snipping Tool in Vista Are you still able to create a new account? When you looked at the C:\Users location, did you still have a folder with your user account name? If both of these are true, then you can create a new account for yourself, then copy the contents in the old C:\Users\(user name) folder to your new C:\Users\(user name) folder. Afterwards, you can delete the old account. If you need to, you may be able to do it from within Safe Mode. Safe Mode Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista |  Re: The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded. My issue, at step five in folder "Profilelist" I have three folders "S-1-5-18" "S-1-5-19" & "S-1-5-20". There are no folders with long stings of numbers and nothing with a .bak extension, any suggestions? Any help appreciated All the Best Shoeless |
