| Win7 64-bit Pro | Re: The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded. Hello Frank, and welcome to Vista Forums. You wouldn't have a SID key for "House" until you actually logged on to it the first time to have the account fully prepared and setup. If you cannot create a new account at all, then I would recommend to back up anything that you do not want to lose to be safe. If it has not been to long before this started, you might see if doing a System Restore at boot using a restore point dated before you had this problem may be able to fix it. Hope this helps, Shawn Okey dokey, unfortunately Im not sure when this happened but i think ill just wait for my new ssd and revert to my clean install image. Thanks again. Frank |

No, you will just lose the contents of that account's user folders when you delete a user account. The installed programs will remain intact except for their shortcuts since they are stored in the user folders as well. |

It sounds like you may have only copied and did not "copy and replace" when you did this one. You should be able to delete the duplicate ones though that you do not want. |
