Re: Speed up Computer Boot Time

Hi Mathews2010
It is a pretty good presentation of this tutorial and I do like it except for installing Vista SP1. I am not sure yet whether I am ready to install SP1. The Tutorial is simple and very informative and I am sure it is useful to many of us. Thank you.

Re: Speed up Computer Boot Time

First things first: Thank you very much for the tutorial, we needed it like h**l!

Might I suggest that instead of running ten tools and having to download and install each one of them and eventually purchasing Tune-up Utilities 2008, why not try System Mechanic? NOTE: I don't particularly like that s/w, just suggesting that it might be an all in one solution. Do share ur thoughts on this

Yay! this is my second post! Thank you!

Re: Speed up Computer Boot Time

Excellent tutorial - I'd already disovered C Cleaner but am a bit of a computer dummy and am now finding my way to where no dummy has gone before - with excellent results! Thank you...

Re: Speed up Computer Boot Time

I have a tip.

Always resize windows, make them as small as you can make them without losing info, before taking a snip. Try not to make any image larger than 650 wide, as its a pain for people that dont have big screens.

Other than that good job!

Re: Speed up Computer Boot Time

Neat Tutorial mathews !
Just one suggestion,i guess Steps 12 and 13 can be done without installing SP1 so you should put Step 11 (Install SP1) as the last step (Optional).
