Did you have any problems installing the SP1? Anything installed that may be blocking the cleaner from running? Shawn |

| Home Premium | Re: SP1 Disk Cleanup Tool I have Vista Home Premium x86 pre-installed on my Dell laptop. I had no problems installing SP1 via Windows Update when it was released. I can't think of anything that may be preventing the clean-up tool from working... |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: SP1 Disk Cleanup Tool Drewbot, I'm not sure why it will not clean the SP1 backups. I ran it on my system again to check if that was it, after I already cleaned them, and it still ran. It just finished really fast since there was nothing there to clean. You might try booting into Safe Mode and try running this in there. If something is blocking it, it should run in Safe Mode. Shawn |
