| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Vista SP1 Slipstream Installation DVD Hi Kiruba_lks, I suppose that you can using the Integration option to in step 8, but you should post this in the vLite program forum for more of a specific solution hopefully. vLite - MSFN Forums A more practical and easier solution would be to use a backup program like Acronis True Image to make a clone of your hard drive, when you have Vista to where you want it setup with any programs, as a bootable installation DVD. This way if you need to reinstall, you pop in the backup, restart the computer to boot from it, and have everything back in about a hour. You can get and try a free 15 day trial version of this program here. Download backup software trial of HDD ghosting, data backup and restore software for home and home office PCs Hope this helps, Shawn |

| vista premium 64bit | Re: Vista SP1 Slipstream Installation DVD Brink Just an update ![]() vLite works with both pre SP1, OEM DVD and new OEM DVD with SP1 Vista 64bit Home Premium (before SP1) Slipstreamed SP1 and add drivers and/or components (ie IE7). Just finished Vista Ultimate SP1 (SP1 preinstalled, new) Removed components and added extra drivers ok. Loaded pc ok, been running all day ok. ![]() No changes to your guide needed. BTW, Erasing the DVD works, before burning the image too. Last edited by Iforgot; 05-31-2008 at 09:28 AM.. Reason: clarity? |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Hi Brink, at Step 15 I click on 'No' cause the ISO is over 4 GB. But I'm bit getting the Step 16 screen where I can Rebuild one (Ultimate). Strange I followed the steps exactly three times now still the same. - EDIT - Oops nevermind/! I didn't know you had to click on APPLY at the bottom after selecting NO when you have the ISO over 4 GB. Sorry for the double post, but everything working great as it should THANKS! |

| Vista Business x64 | Re: Vista SP1 Slipstream Installation DVD During install of vLite 1.2 beta, the screen that it stopped at installing the WIM filter would not let me continue without requiring the installation of the WAIK, which it provided a link to (over 1300MB on the MS download site). I downloaded vLite 1.1.6 final, and there was no such link or requirement at the same point during installation. I can't find on the changelog where this came in, or how recently the beta version was made available. Has anyone else come across this yet? |
