| Windows 7 64-bit | Re: Boot Advanced Options - Number of Processors I have an HP Quad core and I only see "1 or 2" under the 'number of processors' in the System Config (MSCONFIG) utility. I have tried to get to my BIOS on start up but I cannot get in it . I have hit all the key and it won't go to the BIOS. Is ther another way to make sure the QUAD core is configured correctly? |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Boot Advanced Options - Number of Processors Hello Jablake, and welcome to Vista Forums. Leaving the Number of processors box unchecked will also allow Vista to use all of your CPU cores by default after restarting the computer. You can verify this by looking under the Performance tab in Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) to see how many CPU usage history graphs you have. You will have one per core. Hope this helps, Shawn |
