Re: New Context Menu - Restore Default Menu Items

Hello Oldsew, and welcome to Vista Forums.

If you tried everything in the tutorial step by step, then see if using a older restore point can help fix this for you.

Re: New Context Menu - Restore Default Menu Items

OK, I will restore again but can you tell me why this is happening? Is it an update to Vista? This is the 3rd time. Possibly I used the wrong reg. d/l. I think I saw 64 bit somewhere and I have Vista 32.

Re: New Context Menu - Restore Default Menu Items

Oldsew,

It can be caused by a number of things such as registry cleaner allowed to delete the wrong registry entries, 3rd party program context menu add on not compatible, etc..... It would be hard to narrow it down unless it happened right after you installed or changed something.

Expanded Context Menu

I don't understand how this has happened [the full list], but this is my Context Menu.
Can other and additional selections be added at will?

New Menu - Context and File

The new ones that you have came from the Microsoft Office suite program.

Hope this helps,
