Everytime I try to implement these changes it works for about five minutes then knocks out my connection. I can't connect to ff or ie and I wind up having to reset all the settings and reset the router and adapter on my computer. I don't know what it does but I can not connect to the internet after I tweak with these settings. I've tried it about three times in the past couple months and it happens everytime so I just leave it be.

frankzappa77, you are right. I read that same article and any integer over 8 makes no difference whatsoever, because Firefox can only make up to 8 requests at a time. 100
is an absurd number, let alone 1,000,000!

huh very nice I didnt get any errors or crashing but i set it @ 1,000,000,000 and i dont see no diference is it just me, my computer, or am i right?
