| Newbie | Re: Boot Screen - Change I have the same problem that Fatima4rasel have. "Generate Boot Screen File Failed : Could not find a part of the path 'C:/Windows/system32/boot/he-il/winload.exe.mui' " Thanks for the help |

| Member | Re: Boot Screen - Change Yes I get a similar message, but referring to Windows\System32\Boot\en-GB\winload.exe.mui. Pre-SP1, the file to be altered was, if memory serves, C:\Windows\System32\en-US\winload.exe.mui. Googling for the \en-GB directory (in either place) comes up empty |

| Member | Re: Boot Screen - Change Brink - hi I downloaded a few .mui files which are in, um, D:\Resources\Vista Cosmetic\Bootscreens and the pictures I tried were in D:\Resources\Pictures. Is the prog expecting them to be in a specific place? |

| Administrator | Re: Boot Screen - Change No, but I was seeing if maybe there might be a common location for the people that are getting this error. Not sure why you would be getting that error yet. |

| Newbie | Re: Boot Screen - Change Maybe its because i did an update to the computer and accidentally downloaded a lot of language packs. It could be it? because it's searching for the system language in the boot folder in system32... |

| Administrator | Re: Boot Screen - Change Seems like it could be related. Otherwise, I wouldn't know why it would be searching it that nonexistant location. |

| Member | Re: Boot Screen - Change But I never loaded any of the language packs. Also aloNs had trouble with 'C:/Windows/system32/boot/he-il/winload.exe.mui' " (Hebrew, apparently) whereas mine made more sense, in a way - mine was 'C:/Windows/system32/boot/en-GB/winload.exe.mui' " and my locale etc was set to UK, not US. But where is the program getting these directories? I had a look at the environment variables but... Well, it's just a cosmetic thing I guess, so no need to get all bent out of shape about it, but it would be nice just to figure it out |

| Administrator | Re: Boot Screen - Change I'm not sure where it is getting these directories from. It seems like some bug with the program on non US locale set systems. You might also contact the support for the program to see what they may say to. AloNs, what is your system locale set as? |

| Newbie | Re: Boot Screen - Change My system local set as Hebrew... but even when I changed it to English(US) the program steel tried to locate "he-IL"... |
