Click on the Start button, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press Enter. 3. In the User Account Control window, type your password or click Continue. 4. In Registry Editor, expand the following registry path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class 5. Under Class, click on {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}. 6. In the right pane, right-click UpperFilters, and then click on Delete. 7. Click on Yes when prompted to delete the registry value. 8. In the right pane, right-click LowerFilters, and then click on Delete. 9. Click on Yes when prompted to delete the registry value. 10. Quit Registry Editor by clicking Exit on the File menu. 11. Restart the computer. NOTE: Update the dvd firmware if this doesn't work. Check in BIOS is your dvd drive is listed.
