There is no reason for wake up, I checked the events and the scheduled tasks as well and I found nothing. I wakes up even the LAN is off. I found out that few seconds before POWER TROUBLESHOOTER (ID 1) there is some TaskScheduler event "Module of tasks was ended" - ID of event 301.

I really don't know what to do. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Best regards

Radek

P.S.:
I tried to change the time to few minutes to 1 a.m. and then I hibernate the NB. At 1.00.56 the NB woke up and then I checked with powercfg -lastwake and it schows 0. I think that there must be some task (hidden task), but I can't find the it (I have selected as well the option to show hidden tasks). Is there any possibility to see all tasks, but not through TaskScheduler? Thank you in advance for you help. BTW this forum is very helpful - thank you for it.

Re: Power Options and Sleep Mode Problems

Hello Radek,

You might also check in the power management options in the BIOS to make sure that nothing is allowed to wakeup the computer in there as well. Also check any programs that you have installed to see if they have something scheduled, ex: checking for updates.

Hope this helps some,
Shawn

Re: Power Options and Sleep Mode Problems

The start menu power button had the shut down option now all I have is sleep, I tried restore plans but stayed the same.

Hello Dwardu,

Is shutdown also missing from the locations as described in this tutorial below?

Re: Power Options and Sleep Mode Problems

Click on the Restore plan defaults button to see if it may return afterwards. You will of course have to reset your settings though.

I did that and I tried powercfg -restoredefaultschemes in CMD but still the same So now I will use the power button instead from the start menu for a faster system shut down

Re: Power Options and Sleep Mode Problems

You can also use this Shutdown shortcut for now to if you like.

You might also try a System Restore using a restore point dated when you think it may have been there.

System Restore is disabled so I made the shutdown shortcut now. Thank you very much Brink for the help.
