| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Take Ownership of file Hello pjjppj, In addition to Fmjc001's post, your C: drive should have the owner as TrustedInstaller with your administrator account listed as having "Full Control" Allowed. What does your C: drive say in it's Security tab Properties window? Hope this helps, Shawn |

What does your C: drive say in it's Security tab Properties window? Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Take Ownership of file I would recommend doing a System Restore (Method Two) using a restore point dated before you lost TrustedInstaller as the owner to see if it can fix this and allow you to also see who the owner of your C: drive is again. |
