Hello Brink,
Yes, is there an actual way to disable the stupid pop up menu allow/deny?
If not, why? Is it part of the system hierarchy?

Hello Gnys,

If you mean UAC (User Account Control), then you can turn it off if you like. However, I would recommend to only elevate your adminstrator account's privilege level instead if you do this. It is better to leave UAC turned on. You can see why and how here.

the post simply rocks man... U are the pro... Thanx a lot for th grt help... Was able to delete my canon enum entry with your help... was feeling rather miserable otherwise as had bought a new sys and a new printer and the printer wouldn't work as I think I plugged it in while installing the os.. Thanx alot
