| Vista Home Premium, 64-bit | Re: Windows Mail Spell Check Good Morning! THANKS so much for this FIX! Hooray! Finally I have my Spell-check back! I have had this wonderful HP Touchscreen since Sept. 29th. Unfortunately, it is loaded with VISTA ![]() I am working on a Master's Degree (Nursing) online, and have not had the time to "fix" so many things! I do not need Spell-check because I can not spell, but that I type so darn fast and often, my hands lag behind what I am thinking! Today is the first day of my "Winter Break" and I have 3 weeks off. Do you think I can fix everything that is so aggravatingly wrong with this system? The next issue is how to SPEED UP the start-up! I have already taken out everything so that my desktop is, "bare bones," and I have removed all of the pre-loaded software from HP (purchased from HP). I guess I will search your pages here to find discussion on SPEED? Thanks again for your help. MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HANNUKAH< HAPPY KWANZAA, PEACE! |

But I was wondering if you had the same spellcheck problem as I have. My spellcheck gives me a different message than the tutorial on the link that you provided. My language is ok--that is when my spell check was working. My spell check give me 2 error messages: (1) an error occurred while spelling was being checked and (2) The spell check on this document was halted. Did your spellcheck give you the same messages? Thanks, |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Windows Mail Spell Check Thanks for your offer. I did see my cousin on Friday for a very short period and explained what you said. He said that "he" wouldn't try to do anything ro fix the spell check problem. He suggested (as one of he Dell Techs did)--write your message, then copy and paste to MS Word, use that spellcheck then if no errors send email message, if errors, fix them then copy and paste to email and send. I have been doing that but I just can't understand "why" all of a sudden WM spellcheck keeps on giving me those two different error messages. Thanks again, Nadia |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Windows Mail Spell Check Hello Nadia, Well, that's his choice of course. If it is still giving you these errors after applying the tutorial, then I would recommend to use the free Windows Live Mail instead. It is much more stable and better in my opinion. You can read more about it and download it from the link below if you're interested in it. Windows Live Suite Downloads Hope this helps, Shawn |

Windows Live Suite Downloads Hope this helps, Shawn I understand that WLM is coming out with a new version soon. Do you have any updated info on when it will be out. I tried to download WLM and all my folders came over but not all of them had messages in them. For instance, my Inbox and nothing in it plus several others had nothing in it. Some folders however did have messages. I even tried to manually import them from WM but the same thing happened with the same folders. Some had messages and some didn't so Gary V. advised me to wait for the new version. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Windows Mail Spell Check Nadia, I'm not sure when the newest beta WLM version will be released as a non-beta yet, but the beta version works great for me. You might see if you can forward the email messages from Windows Mail to yourself, then see if you can Send/Receive (sync) them in WLM when you check the email. |
