Re: Windows Mail Spell Check

No. This is not correct in my instance. The spell check stops working. Even if a word is not in the dictionary, or cannot be judged by spell-check as being a word in the dictionary it will highlight that word, not just say 'The spelling check is complete' without doing a check!

Re: Windows Mail Spell Check

I see. In that case Ben, I would recommend that you might give the free Windows Live Mail a try. In my opinion, it's a lot better.

It supports Pop3, IMAP, HTTP website (EX: Hotmail) email, and is a lot more stable. Plus, WLM will minimize to a tray bar icon, checks spelling as you type messages, and has a separate Inbox for each email account. WLM will automatically import Windows Mail messages, accounts, and settings into it. Contacts will have to be manually imported from within WLM. (Tools, Contacts, File, Import, Address book for current Windows User.) To see the Menu bar, press ALT+M and check "Show all menus".

Re: Windows Mail Spell Check

Many thanks, this worked perfectly. Can spell check again after a year of not doing anything about it.

Re: Windows Mail Spell Check

Thank you so much. My computer was about to go out the window. I tried other peoples solutions but yours was the only one that explained it in a way that made it work for me. Thanks again.
