Yeah, we stopped taking donations a few years ago.
I've now removed all donation links in this thread.
I have found your forum and tutorials extremely helpful. I have one problem. When I print out the tutorials to use for a checklist, The attachments do not print graphically. The only thing that prints is the link that appears in the printer-friendly version.
Is it me or do the graphics not print out? I would hate to have to print each attachment individually and then match them up to the tutorial. There is probably some simple solution but I don't know what it is. The Sticky just kind of breezes by the four tools.

Hello Relem, and welcome to Seven Forums.
If you like, you should be able to File -> Print the tutorial using the normal version instead of the printer-friendly version to have the images included.![]()
Brink,
I can't even seem to find the icons here to get a reply posted. Somehow I did the first time.
In any case, using File--> Print only gives me the first page of the actual tutorial and then all the following comments. I've noted this behavior on other sites as well. The problem is that the tutorial as uploaded does not seem to include page breaks as posted. Maybe someone could try their printer like that. Has anyone else had my problems with either the printer-friendly version or the straight File --> Print?
Last May I was able to print out the entire tutorial with all the graphics on a couple of other things from the tutorials. I was using a Canon MX870 on a wired e-net network at that time. I wish I could remember which side of my mouth I was holding my tongue in then. I know I started out with the same problems but somehow got things to print properly.
I had to replace that printer and have a Canon MX892. Everything seems pretty much the same on both except for some added eprint and google print capabilities.

Another option is File -> Print preview.
This way you can see how many pages are for the tutorial only, and be able to only print those pages without the comments on the pages after the last page of the tutorial.
I've tried that Brink and get the same result as what gets printed. If I set my printer to preview whats to be printed, I get the first tutorial page only and then all the comment pages. I can also select what's to be printed (like an editor) on my printer and choose the entire tutorial witout comments. Again only the first page will print.
Reviewing on the print-friendly version; the entire tutorial will print except that the attachments are entered as links "Attachment 299", etc instead of the actual graphic. I do wonder that the graphics are not in the print-friendly version.
Are you able to print the graphics?
I'm going to go over my browser, Firefox 20.0.1, and see if thats the problem. Also I haven't tried in Internet Explorer either.
I just checked IE7with worse results, the first page and the sixth page are the only pages with anything on the paper the rest are blank. I'm going to dig ito Firefox help forums and see what I find.

Ok, here's what I think is happening. If you look at your page numbers for the tutorial, "How to Reset Windows Explorer Folder View Settings to Make Vista Remember", all of the tutorial is on page one and the comments start on page six.
My browser and printer don't understand that page one is really n printed pages long, so it prints as much of the tutorial as will fit on a single page and then goes to the comments as my page two, actually the tutorial page six. Then all of the comment pages will print out in sequence.
One odd thing is that the related threads portion of the tutorial format prints at the end of whatever the last comment page I print. so there must be some automatic structuring you do for the uploads.
I may have had to select sections of a tutorial in order to get all of the images printed as well as the accompanying text. The tutorial listed above is one I printed successfully last year. I have also tried printing on two XP machines and two vista machines with the same results.
I'll just keep whacking away at it when I can to see what my problem is. Thanks for your effort and time.

For me, I use "File -> Print preview" to see how it would print first like below. In that tutorial you mentioned, it ends on page 8 of the Print preview.
I can then click on the Printer icon (top left), select (dot) "Pages", and enter 1-8 in the "Page Range" to only have those print with the tutorial instead of all 13 pages. Sure the 8th page with still have some comments at the bottom though.
Do you see the same?
