| Vista Ultimate x32 | Re: New Folder I am having this issue with Vista Ultimate x32. I tried to use the fix for this OS but when doing the merge it only open the file in Notepad. Are you aware of a similar fix for Vista x32? |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: New Folder Hello Philk, and welcome to Vista Forums. It sounds like the .reg file extension is not set to be opened by the default regedit.exe. You will just need to set the file extension Name .reg to have the Current Default set as Registry Editor (C:\Windows\regedit.exe) in Default Programs. Method Two in this tutorial will show you how to. Default Programs Afterwards, try merging the reg file again to fix your New Folder problem. Hope this helps, Shawn |
