| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: System Restore - How to I am in an urgent need to get it explained how to make a restore when you are not able to get to Windows. My Vista worked fine untill couple of days ago and I am unable to start it. When tried to boot it in the safe mode I noticed it stopped when loading CRCDISK.SYS and then just tries to reboot. Dell Support is claiming I could make a repair by using virtual partition X and Vista Disc. When I tried I couldn't find an OS to choose so I should choose installation file manually. As that part is new to me and as i am not finding any installation file to select and make a repair I need help. Please advise. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: System Restore - How to I managed to run Startup repair but I am now only getting black screen with the pointer on. It seems that The repair repaired the disc that had some king of "bad volume information that was damaged. Is there any way to repair even this part? The PC is pretty new (since June). Should I ask Dell to replace it or is there a workaround? Thanks in advance. |
