Hi Brink
I didn't do all the adjustments,but 1,6,7,8,13,14,15,16,18,24 and25 resulted in enormous improvement of performance in my laptop. Thank you for this very useful Tutorial,BTW I didn't add to your reputation.

Brink, Thanks for this great list. Unfortunately I find this post today so I lost lot of my time looking in different places.
I did most of your suggestion but my Vista 32 Ultimate still need from 4.5 minutes to 5 minutes to turn on after logging.
I can make description what my computer is, and ask you or your colleagues for help. Can I do it? If yes where is the place to put this information?
Sorry of my naïve question but I am very new in this great Forum. Please accept my best regards.
