| Windows Vista Home Premium | Re: Windows Mail Signatures Have you made sure that the image link is in the correct format? Should be as follows Code: <IMG src="http://your_image_here.jpg"> Here is a copy of the code i use, remembering that the image can also be stored online. Code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 TRANSITION//EN"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><HEAD> <META http-equiv=content-Type content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <META content="MSHTML 3.00.6001.17128" name="GENERATOR"> <STYLE></STYLE> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=3>Your Name Here<br/> </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=3><a href="http://www.your_url_here.com">Any text you want here</a></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=3></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://Your_image_here.jpg"></DIV></BODY></HTML> Regards Craig |

| home premium | Re: Windows Mail Signatures ok well I have the picture up on photo bucket like the tutorial said and the site has links for email, website etc (Ithink there are four) and all I did was copy and paste the link and put it with my text..... which as I write sounds stupid. Im not good at the techie stuff (it seems, I thought I was) so can you talk me through that bit like Im an idiot? Thankyou |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Windows Mail Signatures Your instructions really work but my signature file is a 12 k htm file and I'm not allowed to make it shorter, because it's a standard signature from an association where I'm a member. There are no images on it. What should I do? Is there a way to make Winsdows Mail accept it this way? It accepts the signature as staionary file to compose emails but doesn't apply it in repplies. Thanks in advance. Paulo Coutinho |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Windows Mail Signatures Hello Paulo, and welcome to Vista Forums. If the signature does not contain any links in it, I suppose a workaround would be to create a screenshot image of it and use the image as your signature instead. Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Ultimate 32bit | Re: Windows Mail Signatures Hi! Great tutorial! Finally I got a decent signature. ![]() But I have one problem. I have three mail-accounts and I only want to use this signature on one of them. I have tried to check the box beside this account in the option where you choose which account you want to apply the signature to. No matter what I do the signature is showing whenever I start to write a new mail. How can I fix this so I only use the signature on one of the accounts insted of having to manually add it like I do know. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Windows Mail Signatures Hi King-Nothing, Yeah, I noticed that when you have Add signatures to all outgoing messages checked, it uses the default signature for all email accounts no matter what you have checked for it in the Advanced button. I found a workaround was to create a text signature with just a line EX: _______ as the default signature. Then set the signature you wanted that is now not the default to be checked for the email account you want it used for in the Advanced options. Leave the Add signatures to all outgoing messages checked. Hope this helps, Shawn |
