I also wonder how your question relates to scripting. groups aren't an option - I'd end up in a worse situation, with one group for every file (they're all unrelated), thousands of files. |

I thought your question related to the machine's performance during file access. It now appears that you're asking how running xcacls.vbs affects the machine. If this is of concern then I would run the command after hours. Since this is a one-off event, there shouldn't be any problem. |
